Keeping my options open

I've been reading a very interesting motivational book.

It takes the view that, instead of listening to the nice, kind, loving internal voice - you know, the one that tells you that you're wonderful just the way you are, and one chocolate isn't going to hurt - we should listen to the one that tells you that you are a lazy slob, and you should get of your backside and do something about it!!!

And, you know, I think it might be right!

If you think about it, what is going to get you riled up and motivated to do something...someone telling you you don't really need to, or someone suggesting that you couldn't do it anyway??

The book is actually about running, which I'm not sure I want to do, but I like her way of thinking!

Maybe it's time to give the namby-pamby, gently does it approach to motivation a rest, and cultivate my inner bitch!

After all, life is not really meant to be a spectator sport!!!

Today I am grateful for options!

Gratefully yours.
xx
