I'm actually quite proud of myself.
I have discovered over the last 217 days that I am able to stick at something, create a good habit.
And thanks, in part to this blog, I am also sticking (far longer than I thought I would) to my good habit of walking every morning.
For a while there I fell into just really strolling around...during and just after my holidays, I guess, but I'm back to good, fast, energetic walking again, and, I have to say, thoroughly enjoying it.
So there we have two good habits!!! So how easy should it be to form, and stick to, more???
It really is good to have that realisation, that I can decide to do something, and do it.
I think I'm accepting, also, that even though it may not always be easy, or enjoyable, that doesn't mean it's not good. I guess I should have known anyway that nothing worth having/doing is going to come easy. No pain, no gain!!!
So, today I am grateful for perseverance.
It may have taken me a while to recognise it...but it's good to know that I can harness it!!
