All's well

That's my Burns Supper over and done with for another year!

Once again we had a great night of poetry and song...and the food was pretty darned good too!!

I love cooking for a big group like that. You wouldn't think so during the day when I'm panicking about it...but once it goes on the table it's just great. I can sit back and say "I did that!"

As has become customary, Megan and Thomas stayed up all night too. And they both acquitted themselves brilliantly. Thomas sang a few songs, and Meggie played the piano. I was a very proud mammy. They were both just great. And, lest we forget him, K sang his party piece beautifully too!

All in all, today I am grateful for having had a successful night of good fun with good friends.
