Pottery

It was one of those pottery kind of Sundays today.

One where there's nothing hard or strenuous done, but lots of little things get done. Well ,okay, K did cut the grass which is a pretty big thing, but other than that nothing hard or strenuous!

Thomas spent the day with Fergus. Meggie and I played The Game of Life for about 2 hours this morning (fun game!) and then a few of her pals appeared and that was her for the afternoon.

K played his golf in the morning and then came home and cut the grass.

I did my food shop, cooked a chicken and potted up some flowers in the garden pots.

On the one hand, it was a fine relaxed day, but on the other hand, I don't feel like I've done anything. The day has just come and gone and that's it.

So, I'd better look at  the positive side...it's been a lovely, unexpectedly warm and sunny, relaxed day. Nobody had to rush to get anywhere, or to get anything done. The kids were occupied and didn't fight. I'm refreshed and ready for the coming week!

I am grateful for the chance to re-charge.

Hope you are all re-charged and ready for the week ahead also.

Gratefully yours.
xx
