The important stuff

Today was a day for doing the important stuff.

Meggie and I spent a lot of "girl time" together.

First of all we coffeed. Then we shopped. The tongues (well, Meggie's anyway!) never halted.

No other jobs to do. No boys to interrupt and disrupt. No distractions.

In the evening then, we went off to the cinema together, and had a good cry at the sad bit just before the end.

We came home and jamma-ed and snuggled on the couch with a DVD.

Today I am grateful for making time for the important stuff. These days won't last forever.
