Ladies who lunch

Today is one of those "don't even need to think about it" days.

Today I am grateful for the creative genius who came up with Skype.

I was feeling a wee bit homesick today, knowing that my mammy was entertaining my three gorgeous sisters for lunch.

But, never fear!!! I made myself a cuppa, and skyped them!

Okay, I didn't get to taste the delicious looking lunch (although I did get a very tasty sausage sandwich shortly afterwards), or drink the pink fizz out of lovely tall wine glasses, but who cares! I got to be there in more than just spirit!! I got to chat and laugh and see them all!

Who would have thought, thirty-odd years ago, watching Star-Trek (OMG...could it even be forty-odd years ago!!!) that we would one day be looking at the person we were phoning?? Well obviously the smarty that invented Skype thought it!!!

Doesn't it just go to show you that nothing is impossible??

Lunch at mine next week, ladies???
