I was back at work in Adare today. First time since before the "summer" break!
It's a lovely shop. One wall is almost completely glass, and in the afternoons, assuming there is any sun at all, it shines straight in, heating up the entire shop like a wee oven.
This afternoon was one such sunny one....well, it would be, the kids are back at school!
My assistant excused herself for a few minutes to go into the Centra next door. When she came back, she handed me a gorgeous looking soft ice-cream cone, complete with flake. Just what the doctor ordered!!
"I didn't ask you, because I knew you'd say no. But here's a treat for your first day back!"
Today I am grateful for thoughtful gestures.
And she was right...I would have said no! So I'm very glad she didn't ask!!!
