Getting the job done

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together??

What a great day. First, I took a whole car-load of books, toys and games over to the creche. I was a bit worried that I had really taken them too literally when they said they were happy to take whatever we had, but they actually meant it! Just as well! Don't know what I would have done with it all otherwise!! It made me feel great to think that all that stuff would get a second chance to make a very small someone happy.

Then came my singing lesson. It was great fun, as usual. Starting to learn a new song is always a challenge, but I love it. Such a buzz! I know I talked about it last week, but I honestly believe that the half hour spent doing scales and going over a song phrase by phrase is a half hour of pure, unadulterated joy! Who would have guessed that something as little as engaging in something you have always done, but on a more conscious level, would be so good for you?

And then...ah, then! I came home, got stuck in and got the spare room ready to receive my darling sister and her better half on Friday! As the song says..."What a feeling!" I'm telling you, it obviously doesn't take much to get me going, does it!! But you know what I mean...it is great to finish a job. And the room looks fab again!

Ooops...nearly forgot...today I am grateful for getting the job done!!
