The laundry basket in our room was full again. I seem to have done loads (literally) of washing over the past week, but obviously none of it was ours!
I've washed blankets and sheets, towels, piles of Thomas' clothes (he must have been hiding them, 'cos all of a sudden, after he and Susan tidied his room, his laundry bag was full to overflowing!), swimming gear.....you name it! And with the weather we regularly get here ie wet, wet, wet, I have to rely on my trusty clothes-horse in the utility to get stuff dry.
So, today I am grateful for my added bonus...the sock-drier!
It hangs off the end of the clothes-horse with little pegs to clip the socks on to. And without it, I would not have had enough room to get all the clothes hung up, without putting up a second clothes-horse! It has to be done on very rare occasions, and you can barely get to the deep-freeze or back door past it!
As they say...be thankful for small mercies!
