My own devices

K took the kids off to Shannon this afternoon and left me to my own devices.

It was really nice to have some time on my own, just to do my own thing. Working so many mornings these days means that I don't really get much time on my own, and I miss it.

I got some cleaning, ironing and cooking done...as well as nice cup of coffee with my feet up.

I am grateful to have had that we bit of space.

Much as I love my bairns, it's nice to get some time off! I must reciprocate tomorrow now, and let K get some "me time" too! Maybe he'll do the rest of the housework!!!
