The sound of silence

I'm enjoying a very quiet evening. And, strangely enough, I'm not home alone!!

Okay, well, K is out...his turn, I guess. But the kids are in. So how, I hear you ask, am I having a quiet evening???

Thomas has been on his x-box, and I can only guess that he has not been on live with any of his pals, because when he is he shouts his head off...someone should tell him that they can hear him through the microphone, he doesn't have to try and make them hear through the walls!

Megan has taken to listening to music on her i-pod with earphones on, lying on her bed, reading. I do like the earphones bit!!!

At one point this evening I actually had to go upstairs just to confirm to myself that they were still in the house!!

So, today I am grateful for the wonderful sound of silence.

I am also grateful for the sound of my angels getting ready for bed, and shouting me to go up and cuddle in bed reading with them!
